LEWISTON – Mildred L. Nadeau, 90, of Auburn, died peacefully Feb. 9, at Russell Park Manor, after a brief illness, with her family by her side.

She was born in Woodland, April 6, 1915, the daughter of Frank E. and Ethel E. (Green) Nadeau. She married Roland L. Nadeau Sr. on June 29, 1935, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Lewiston. She lost the love of her life, her husband, Roland, in April of 1974.

She owned and operated Lee’s Nursing Home in Auburn and also St. Regis Nursing Home. She was a caregiver all her life and always gave her all to her family and patients in her nursing home.

She is survived by six children, Roland Jr. and his wife, Maria, of Sparks, Nev., Joan Masselli of Harrison, Richard and his wife, Nancy, of Lewiston, Maurice of Lewiston, Reginald and his wife, Sylvia, of Auburn and Jeannine Cloutier and her fianc, Paul Houtari, of Palmyra; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
