NORWAY – Marion Arlene Cooper, 79, of Norway, formerly of Sacramento, Calif., died Friday, Feb. 10, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Cooper was born in Auburn, on May 10, 1926, to Leon and Abbie (Damon) Johnson. She graduated from Edward Little High School in the Class of 1944.

She had lived in Sacramento, Calif., most of her life. She had worked for Blue Diamond, an almond grower in Sacramento for more than 20 years. She had recently moved back to Maine to be with her daughter, Sharon Bouchard.

Mrs. Cooper is survived by a daughter, Sharon and husband, Henry Bouchard, of South Paris; stepdaughter, Ann Sautner of Palm Desert, Calif.; granddaughter, Renee’ Wales and husband, Jonathan, of Norway; three great-grandsons, Reese Elijh Wales of Norway, Tristan Kilgore also of Norway and Corey Dan serving his country in Iraq; a sister, Ona Osgood of Amesbury, Mass.; a half sister, Mildred Frye of Poland; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Cooper on Nov. 10, 1998.
