LEWISTON – Jessica Cram and John Cleary were married at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston on Oct. 22. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Renald Lebarre of Biddeford.

Given in marriage by her father and mother, the bride is the daughter of William and Claire Cram of Turner. The bridegroom is the son of Edmund and Shirley Cleary of Connecticut.

Jill Cram, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were sisters of the bridegroom, Cathy and Amy, and friend of the bride, Jade Nield. Craig Tomlin, friend of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were brothers of the bridegroom, Ed, Mike and Steve.

A reception followed at the Spring Meadows Country Club in Gray, after which the couple traveled to Hawaii. The couple is residing in Waterford, Conn.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Leavitt Area High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from WPI in 1997 and a masters degree from the University of Connecticut in 2002. She is a senior contract specialist at General Dynamics.

The bridegroom is a 1983 graduate of East Lyme High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Connecticut in 1988, and is employed as a senior machine designer at General Dynamics.
