Accidents
Lewiston

• Cars driven by Dawna S. Decker, 45, of 9 Upper Drive, Lisbon Falls, and Terra M. White, 17, of Leeds collided at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Main Street. Damage to Decker’s 1994 Ford was estimated at $1,200; to White’s 1994 Ford, $1,000.

• Cars driven by Jose G. Mata of North Turner and Brittany J. Dube, 16, of 33 Mower Ave. collided at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday at Russell Street. There was no damage to Mata’s 1993 Chevrolet; to the 2000 Chevrolet driven by Dube and owned by Shelly Dube, $2,200.

Auburn

• Vehicles driven by Michael Robert Somerville, 35, of Laredo, Texas, and Scott J. Vaillancourt, 35, of 59 Franklin St., Lewiston collided, 9:40 a.m. Monday at Minot Avenue. Damage to the 2005 Freightliner driven by Somerville and owned by PAM Transport Inc. of Tontitown, Ariz., was estimated at $4,000; to Vaillancourt’s 2004 Mazda, $5,000. Both vehicles were towed.

• Vehicles driven by Jared W. Hodgkins, 18, of Roxbury and Brian Hinkley, 26, of Strong collided 10:15 a.m. Monday at Turner Street. Damage to the 1997 Toyota driven by Hodgkins and owned by Wayne Hodgkins was estimated at $6,500; to Hinkley’s 1996 Jeep SUV, $7,500. Both vehicles were towed.

• Matthew Alexander Paul, 18, of Lewiston, lost control of the car he was driving and struck a tree at noon Wednesday. According to a police report, Paul had been trying to pull to the side of the road to allow an unidentified second vehicle drive around him when he crashed. Damage to the 2000 Volvo, owned by Raymond E. Paul, of Palo Alto, Calif., was estimated at $6,000.
