BETHEL – Sean Caddigan dominated on the court, posting a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds to lead Telstar to a 60-57 win over Wiscasset in playoff action Wednesday evening.

Although Wiscasset outscored the Rebels, 30-20, in the second half, Telstar, which has been strong throughout its season, stepped up its defense to preserve the victory. Ryan Kimball contributed 14 points and nine rebounds for Telstar.

The Redskins’ were led by Curtis DeCosta who downed 23 points.

Hockey

EL 6, Waterville 3

AUBURN – Cam Robichaud and Kevin Smith recorded hat tricks Wednesday as Edward Little skated to an 6-2 upset win over Waterville in a hockey matchup.

Smith added a pair of assists for the Eddies (5-14), while Jacob Marcum, Billy Brewster and Chris Carver were also credited with assists. Adam Loudermilk made 19 saves in net to notch the win.

The powerhouse Panthers (13-4) were paced by Zack Yochem with two goals and an assist. Barrett Moore also tallied to complete the scoring. Joseph Fonoloosa handled netkeeping duties, turning aside 18 shots fired in his direction.
