LEWISTON – Adrienne R. Derosier, 91, formerly of 12 Ames Ave., Lewiston, died Friday, Feb. 17, at d’Youville Pavilion Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since last summer.

Born in Lewiston on Sept. 18, 1914, she was the daughter of Ludger and Exilia Lambert Cote, and was educated in local schools.

She was employed in local shoe factories until her marriage to Albert E. Derosier, who passed away on March 12, 1985, after 47 years of marriage.

A member of Holy Family Parish, she enjoyed beano, playing cards and dice with family, and watching Lawrence Welk and game shows, especially Jeopardy and the Wheel of Fortune.

She also loved to cook for her family, and was very talented at embroidery, winning blue ribbons for her work at the Monmouth Fair right up to the age of 90.

Survivors include a son, Edward “Eddie” Desrosiers and wife, Carlene, of Turner; three daughters, Joan and husband, Normand Gagnon, of Auburn, Lorraine and husband, George Shaw, of Lewiston, and Pauline “Paulie” Pelletier and partner, Marc Pare, of Monmouth; a sister, Muriel Pelletier of Sebring, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Lisa Desrosiers, Susan Jamison, Diane Dagneau, Michael Pelletier, Julie Conkright, Christine Ivy, Larry Desrosiers and Linda Danse; and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Sgt. Laurier Derosier, who was killed serving in Vietnam in December 1967; a brother, Edward Cote; and three sisters, Cecile Lamontagne, Yvette Frechette and Liane Cote.

The family would like to thank Dr. George Morrisette and the wonderful staff at d’Youville Pavilion for the loving care and attention they gave Adrienne.
