POLAND – June Rose Reynolds, 83, of Poland, died at her home early Saturday morning, Feb. 18.

She was born in Auburn on Aug. 29, 1922, the daughter of John T. and Neva (Bickford) Bradbury. She was educated in Auburn schools.

She married Allan Cole Reynolds on May 29, 1941.

She was a member of the Auburn United Methodist Church.

June enjoyed cooking and talking with her many friends and family. She always had a candy dish on her kitchen table for her friends and children. She was also a great wrestling fan and followed the wrestlers pretty close.

We are including one of her favorite recipes – June’s Blueberry Muffins: cup butter, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, teaspoon salt, cup of milk and 2 cups blueberries. Cream butter and sugar together. Beat eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Mash blueberries, stir by hand. Add remaining blueberries. Grease muffin tins. Pile mixture high in the muffin cups. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 375 degrees, or until toothpick comes out clean.

She is survived by her husband, Allan Cole Reynolds; one daughter, Barbara Jean Nadeau and her husband, David Nadeau, of Poland; two sons, Bruce John Reynolds and his wife, Arlene Beesley Reynolds, of Mechanic Falls, and the Rev. Richard Allan Reynolds of Altamont, N.Y.; one sister, Marjorie Laprise of Lisbon; one brother, John T. Bradbury of Lisbon; six grandchildren, Timothy Nadeau of Auburn, Chris and Casey Reynolds, both of Turner, Chantal Reynolds Baril of Greene, Mindy Fay Reynolds of Providence, R.I., and Ryan Reynolds of Alabama; 15 great-grandchildren, Spencer Reynolds and Michael Bourgoin both of Turner, Nicholas Robert of Turner, Autumn Robert of Turner, Kelsey, Kendra, Jenna-Lee Baril and Makenzie Nainger, all of Greene, Kayla, Kaleb, Rachel and Allison Reynolds, all of Alabama, and Robert David, Abby and Kalib Tremaine of Auburn.
