SOUTH PARIS – Barbara Olson and Jon Deschenes were married at 6 p.m. on Dec. 31 at the First Congregational Church in South Paris. The Rev. Donald Mayberry officiated the ceremony.
Mrs. Deschenes is the daughter of James and Gwendolyn DeWitt of Naples, Fla. Mr. Deschenes is the son of Emily DeNeill of Norway.
The maid of honor was Cari Olson, and men of honor were Daniel Olson and Garrett Olson. Best men were Jon Deschenes Jr. and Jeffrey Deschenes.
The bride is employed by the Growth Council of Oxford Hills in South Paris, and the bridegroom is employed by Central Maine Power in Bridgton.
The couple is residing in Norway.
