PARIS – At the Guy E. Rowe School, Big Brothers Andrew Bowden and Joe Bryce play a basketball game with their Little Brothers, Christian Burns and Devon Vance. These are two of the more than 100 matches that meet for an hour each week throughout Oxford County as part of the Child Health Center’s Big Brothers Big Sisters Program.

The programs are sponsored, in part, by the annual Bowl For Kids Sake event that will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 8 and 9, at the Oxford Hills Bowling Center in South Paris. The team packets are available, and now is the time to start raising sponsorship money.

To participate, persons need to form a team of four, raise a minimum of $25 in sponsorship a bowler, and go bowl. Those who would like to sponsor a bowler should call 743-7035.

Call Big Brothers Big Sisters Coordinator Jessica Truman at 743-7035 to get a team packet or to learn how to sponsor a bowler. All proceeds will support the school and community based matches throughout Oxford County.
