OXFORD – A hands-on seminar on gluten-free cooking will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at the Dancing Trees Lodge.

The session is for people who want to learn how to cook with alternative grains and flours and how to make meal preparation tastier and more interesting for those who cannot eat foods containing gluten. The seminar helps people to adapt recipes and incorporate gluten free ingredients into meal preparation.

To register or for more information, contact Suzanne Dunham at 665-2967 or e-mail dunhamfarm@msn.com. Registration and materials fee (ingredients and handouts) is $17. Preregistration is required by March 1.

The seminars are offered through the SAD 44 Adult Continuing Education, Creative Economy Education Initiative. For more information about programs offered through the initiative, call 824-2780.
