LEWISTON – Kenneth J. Donovan, 82, of Bolster Heights, Auburn, died Friday, Feb. 17, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Lewiston, May 6, 1923, the son of James and Gladys (Sawyer) Donovan. After graduating from high school, he served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and later moved out to Ohio and became a truck driver.
Ken was a 25-year member of AA and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, carpentry and painting.
He leaves two sisters, Norma Lagrange of Auburn and Alta Giasson and her husband, Andre, of Auburn; and a stepdaughter, Debbie Konicki of Auburn.
He was predeceased by his wife, Christine; a sister, Katherine Hammond; and a stepson, Tony Konicki.
