FARMINGTON – Louise Edith LeBeau, 76, of North New Portland, died unexpectedly, Friday, Feb. 17, at the Franklin Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 22, 1929, in Stratton, a daughter of Aaron and Marion (Nile) Bachelder. She attended schools in Eustis, Stratton and Rangeley.
She was a homemaker to her family and spent the last few years living with her son, Joe and daughter, Louise.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, flower gardening, traveling and animals.
She is survived by three sons, Edwin Hill and his wife, Natalie, of Vermont, Carl Hill and his wife, Anita, of Stratton and Joseph LeBeau Jr. and his wife, Deb, of New Portland; a daughter, Louise Anderson of Rhonda, N.C.; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bachelder of Phillips, Carlene Bachelder of Newry, Francis Bachelder of Nevada and Ruth Bachelder of Stratton; seven grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Donald, Reginald, Carl and Malcolm Bachelder.
