There is a new 8th grade Language Arts teacher at LMS. Her name is Mrs. Karla Martin. Before she taught at LMS, she was at Sugg Middle School in Lisbon Falls. She went to college at the University of Maine in Presque Isle and the University of New England. She taught 6th and 7th grade literacy in Lisbon Falls.
What she likes about coming to LMS is that she has never been in a large building and it is a totally different atmosphere for her. She also likes the huge diversity that LMS shows. She misses her former colleagues, but she has built good relationships with her new colleagues.
