NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (AP) – Michael Leveille had two third-period goals to lead Maine to a 4-1 win over Merrimack Friday night.

Greg Moore also had two assists for the Black Bears (22-10-1, 15-8-1 Hockey East).

Maine’s John Hopson opened scoring with 12 seconds left in the first period. Merrimack (5-22-5, 2-17-5) evened the score on an empty-net goal by Derek Pallardy midway through the second, but the Black Bears pulled ahead again on Billy Ryan’s power play at 15:43.

Leveille sent a shot from the point past the Warriors’ Jim Healey (36 saves) for his first goal of the final period, then got his second at 15:38.

Three Warriors players and an assistant coach received game disqualifications and two Maine players also left the game early after a fight near the Merrimack bench with 1:25 remaining.
