AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department of Central Maine Community College will present a workshop on “Managing Change” from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14. The cost of $125 includes materials.

“Often, it seems that the only constant we have in business is the need to change,” said Ken O’Brien, who will teach the course. “We live in an information-based society, under constant bombardment from new technologies, new business concepts and competitive threats.

“How we react and respond to these external forces as an organization directly determines whether our business will lead and grow or simply follow and remain static. This program is highly recommended for all managers and supervisors who want to improve their effectiveness in dealing with change.”

O’Brien works with the college to offer classes for the public and custom training programs for businesses. His experience includes more than 15 years as a consultant, serving businesses throughout New England with training in customer service, sales, supervision and computers.
