The fair will feature recruiting representatives from more than 70 businesses and organizations, ranging from mutual fund brokerages to summer camps for children with special needs. They will be on campus to hire for full-time entry-level positions, summer jobs, part-time jobs and internships.

No registration is required, but it is available for those who wish to gain quick entrance and automatic door prize entry. To register, and for a list of organizations, visit http://chd.umf.maine.edu.

The Center for Human Development provides confidential career and personal growth counseling to UMF students. As a service to the public, the center offers career fairs and the on-site use of software to prepare for tests.

The UMF Center for Human Development will also sponsor the university’s annual Education Job Fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, April 24, in Dearborn Gym. The annual fair is Maine’s only career fair targeted specifically to prospective teachers.
