LEWISTON – Kevin L. McIntosh, 48, of Durham, passed away unexpectedly on Monday evening, Feb. 27.

He was born in Lewiston, on Oct. 26, 1957, a son of the late Ralph and Rena (Gayton) McIntosh. He graduated from Brunswick High School, Class of 1976, and then went on to work for Bath Iron Works as a skilled welder and ship fitter.

He enjoyed landscaping and welding, but his passion in life was riding his motorcycle, he lived and breathed for that.

He is survived by his son, Derek Kevin Ralph McIntosh of Portland; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Edward McIntosh.
