AUBURN – Corinne H. Wrenn, 90, of Farwell Street, Lisbon, passed away peacefully with her loving family and her companion, Calico, her cat by her side on Friday, March 3, at the Androscoggin Hospice House.

She was born in Lisbon on Feb. 4, 1916, a daughter of the late Lewis and Josephine (Bernier) Hudon.

She was educated in the Lisbon schools and graduated from Lisbon High School Class of 1933.

Corinne went on to marry Albert L. Wrenn in 1942. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage until his passing in 1997.

She was a seamstress and a tailor for 10 years, having first studied with George Marquis for about three years. She also worked as a head sales person at the Worumbo Retail Store in Lisbon Falls and in Brunswick for 12 years.

She loved her flower gardens, baseball, and her cat, Calico, who was with her constantly.

Corinne was a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 158, and was also a member of the Historical Society, Horizon 55 and Covenant 50. She was a member of the former St. Anne’s Catholic Church, now Holy Trinity where she was an active communicant.

She will be greatly missed by Linda Gamrat, her special friend and will always be thought of with warm cherishable memories. She also leaves behind a daughter, Emily, of Manchester, England; a son, Michael Wrenn of California; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband; a son, Charles Wrenn, who was three; three brothers; and three sisters.
