LEWISTON – Aurore P. Dube, 72, of 9 Avalon St., Lewiston, died Monday, March 6, at d’Youville Pavilion after a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on July 17, 1933, the daughter of Henry Sr. and Armandine (Dutil) Caron and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was the widow of Joseph Dube whom she married on July 2, 1960, and he died on Oct. 30, 2003.

She was employed as a waitress for many years at Menorie Restaurant on Lisbon Street, retiring in 1972 to raise her family.

She was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Holy Cross Church.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, had a great sense of humor and loved to spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by three sons, Anthoine Dube of Greene, Henry Dube of Auburn and Richard Dube of Lewiston; one daughter, Annette Dube of Lewiston; several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

She was predeceased by four brothers, Gaston, Henry Jr., Larry and Arthur Caron.
