Rumford Hospital recently received several handknit afghans to give to newborns in the Special Delivery Birthing Center. First to curl up in one of the soft cuddlies was Matthew Moreau, shown in the arms of his father, Roger Moreau. With them are mom, Kate Gallant, and big sister, Emily Gallant. Dot Sanchas delivered the afghans Feb. 25, the same day Matthew was born.
