Dorothy Darling Gatchell displays one of the quilts that will be shown at a meeting of the Woman’s Literary Union, 19 Elm St., Auburn, at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9. Gatchell, a well-known storyteller, will appear as one of the characters in the mystery novel “The Perian Pickle Club” by Sandra Dallas. Marguerite Powers and Mary Riley will be hostesses. Janet Eustis of the After Dark Club, a division of WLU, is in charge of decorations. The meeting is open to the public.
