AUBURN – James L. Hickson, 60, died March 1, after a long battle with heart disease.

He was the husband of Carol (Ashton) Hickson. He worked for Superior Concrete. He served on the battleship USS Barry.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Peter, John, Samuel, David and Thomas Hickson; two brothers, Earl Hickson and Michael Rhodes; five sisters, Donna Aldrich, Sandra Mastrogiocomo, Judith Lucas, Roberta Reed, and Theresa Rhodes; goddaughter, Tina Williams; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson.
