PARIS – The fourth annual TVD 1 Lift-a-thon will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at Personal Best Health Club, South Paris. The event will raise funds for the Travis Van Derme Scholarship. He was a 2002 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and an outstanding athlete and student, who died in a car accident that August.

Through the donations of area businesses, there will be prizes, including iPods, T-shirts and hats, and gift certificates.
