GREENFIELD, Mass. – Simone Y. (Rousseau) Dostie, 90, passed away on the March 11, in Greenfield, Mass., while in the primary care of her loving niece, Arlene Roy and John Murdock.

She was born Jan. 21, 1916, and resided in Lewiston for 84 of her 90 years. She was a devout Roman Catholic and a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Shelburne Falls, and an active member of The Ladies of Saint Anne at The Holy Family Parish.

She worked at Geiger Bros., the Starr Millinery Store and Lewiston Crushed Stone, from which she retired. She and her husband, Eddie, were active volunteers in many senior programs. Her life was dedicated to Christ and fellowship through community service. Her generosity of spirit and love will be missed by all.

Survivors include a brother, Henri Rousseau of Windsor Locks, Conn.; and a sister, Germaine Rousseau of Greenfield, Mass.

She was predeceased by her husband, Eddie Dostie; and sister, Deslys Anne Roy.
