ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Bernadette O. Gagne of Zephyrhills, Fla., formerly of Lewiston, passed away on the morning of March 15.
She was born May 30, 1928, as Bernadette O. Berube to Thomas Berube and Eugenie Dube Berube of Lewiston.
A loving mother and wife, she was a dedicated textile worker for 40 years and retired from Tambrands, Inc. in 1992. Some of her favorite hobbies included crocheting, macram, ceramics and making beautiful memories for her loved ones.
Upon her retirement, she and her husband decided to move to a warmer climate and settled in Zephyrhills. She loved to come home and visit family during the summer months, living with her son.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Leo A. Gagne; a daughter and two sons, Marc L. Gagne and wife, Marie Gagne, of Poland Spring, Monique P. Thomas and her husband, James Thomas, of Oxford and Robert T. Gagne and wife, Mary Beth Gagne, of Auburn; one brother and two sisters, Gilbert Berube of Lewiston, Monique Rivard of San Antonio, Texas and Anita Poliquin of Lewiston; seven grandchildren, Pamela, Kristal, Rebecca, Nicholas, Alan, Heather and Rachel.
She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Pauline Rioux of Belchertown, Mass.; and brother, Raymond Berube of Auburn. She was loved and will be dearly missed.
