Let’s see now, let me think back a minute. Oh yes, I seem to remember that in the last election a bond issue for millions to fix roads and bridges was voted on. Let me think now, it seems to me that in the election before that, we had another one.

Well, I’ll be. Come to think of it, for the past three or four years now, we have had a bond issue to fix roads and bridges.

It seems to me that if the state would stop tapping into those funds for other things, it wouldn’t have to borrow some more, would it?

This is just another sign that the governor doesn’t know how to run the state budget.

I hope the people of this state will wake up and not re-elect John Baldacci.
