NORWAY – Mr. and Mrs. Vern Maxfield of Norway joyously announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Behrens Maxfield of Union, to Brian James Nichols of Jefferson, son of Phyllis Nichols of Augusta and the late James Nichols.
Miss Maxfield is a 2000 graduate of Paris Christian Academy and attended Thomas College. She is employed by the State of Maine Department of Corrections.
Mr. Nichols is a 1997 graduate of Erskine Academy and a 1999 graduate of Central Maine Technical College. He is employed at Bond Brothers Lumber Co.
A Sept. 23 wedding is planned.
