LEWISTON – The Parent Resource Center, located at Advocates for Children, B Street Community Center, 57 Birch St., Suite 204, has announced a new six-week program designed to get children’s creative juices flowing.

Art in the Afternoon will combine a variety of art experiences with rhythm and beats of music. The program is appropriate for children ages 18 months to 5 years. Offerings from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays will be as follows:

March 28: finger painting the primary colors.

April 4: Mozart and Monet.

April 11: Picasso prints.

April 18: papier mache.

April 25: texture painting and musical tunes.

May 2: painting with pudding.
