Andrea Mason of Auburn was named to the fall semester dean’s list of Southern Maine Community College. Mason is a senior majoring in early childhood education.

Dean’s list students have attained a grade point average of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester, with no grade less than a C for the semester. Mason’s cumulative grade point average is 3.6.

In addition to going to college full time, Mason serves as a substitute teacher at Ocean House Child Development Center in Cape Elizabeth and works at Pizza Plus in South Portland.
