PARIS – The Oxford Hills AARP group will go on a day trip to Boston on Sunday, June 4, leaving the old Ames Plaza at 7 a.m. and returning at 9 p.m. The cost is $77/pp and includes a “duck tour” of the city and time for lunch at the Prudential Building Shopping Plaza.

Participants will go to the Charles Playhouse for a murder/comedy show, “Shear Madness,” in the afternoon. There will be a stop on the way home for supper. Call Henrietta at 743-6722 to sign up and send a $30 deposit to Walter Taft, 1024 Gore Rd., Otisfield, ME 04270.

Other 2006 trips include: late June, a musical, “South Pacific,” at Brunswick’s Maine State Music Theater, $59/pp plus dinner on own; Aug. 24, Cabbage Island, $73/pp; Sept. 13 and 14, Bar Harbor, $276/pp dbl, including a tour of Acadia National Park, lunch at the Jordan Pond House, a lobster bake, breakfast, a morning boat ride on the Schooner Margaret Todd and a hotel overlooking the bay. The foliage trip will be lunch at the Balsams, $55/pp, Oct. 5.
