The Friends of Ricker Library will present classical guitarist Peter Fletcher in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 31. A native of Atlanta, Ga., currently living in New York City, Fletcher began studying the guitar at age 7 and made his formal debut at 15 under the auspices of the Brasstown Concert Association in North Carolina. He later received the master of music degree from Eastman School of Music. He has recorded three CDs, and his concert in Poland will feature selections from his newest Centaur Records release, “Peter Fletcher Plays Erik Satie” (CRC 2731), as well as other popular compositions. The concert will be at the Ricker Memorial Library, 1211 Maine St. in Poland. Tickets, which include dessert, are $5 for individuals, $12 for families. They be purchased or reserved at the library.
