LEWISTON – Isidore J. Albert, 95, of Lewiston passed away Friday, March 31, at d’Youville Pavilion.
He was born in Lewiston, the son of Ernest and Mary Albert. He married Rose E. Demers December 29, 1930. She passed away on Feb. 2, 1994. He was a devout Catholic. He was an avid gardener, and loved his flowers. He worked for the Androscoggin Mill, and went to Bonneau’s Market as a custodian for 25 years. He retired and enjoyed his winters in Florida with his wife.
He is survived two sons, Joseph G. Albert and his wife, Pat, of Felton, Del., Maurice L. Albert and his wife, Murielle, of Lewiston and Florida; a daughter, Joline J. Martel, and her husband, Paul Martel, of Lewiston; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; and one grandchild, Joann Albert of Delaware.
