CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – A resourceful restaurant worker is being credited with getting police to the scene quickly after a robbery.

Police said the robber locked two Friendly’s employees in the walk-in cooler Friday morning before running off. One of the workers, a 26-year-old woman, tried to use her cell phone to call police but couldn’t get reception. She then got on the ground and poked her phone antenna under the door to make the call.

Police still haven’t found the robber.
