NEEDHAM, Mass. – Margaret E. Dornemann, 91, died March 27 in Needham, Mass.. Beloved wife of the late Frederick H. Dornemann of Needham.

She was born in Rumford on Nov. 18, 1914, a daughter of George and Bella (Murdock) Phillips.

She graduated from Stephen’s High School, Class of 1933. She was employed by the Oxford Paper Co. and was a member of the Franklin Street Methodist Church and its Mary and Martha Club.

She was the devoted mother of Carol Sellman and her husband, Charles of Basking Ridge, N.J. and Naples, Fla., Julie Steck and her husband, William, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Peter Dornemann and his wife, Ellen, of Concord, Mass. and Mary Tibma and her husband, Daniel, of Needham, Mass.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Mildred Lewis, Edna Grannell and Ethel Thurston; and one brother, Kenneth Phillips, all of Rumford.
