PARIS – The Paris Hill Bible Church will hold its annual spring missions conference Friday through Sunday, April 7 to 9. Speakers will include Dr. Richard Morgan, representing Indians for Christ. Morgan serves on the Wind River Indian Reservation near Riverton, Wyo. His sending church is the Open Bible Baptist Church of Williamstown, N.J.

Another speaker will be Terry Costigan, representing Amazing Grace Missions of Dayton, Tenn. Amazing Grace Missions ministers to fairgoers at county and state fairs throughout Maine. The Costigans are natives of Maine, whose home church is the Twin City Baptist Church in Brewer.

Additionally there will be the Strout family, representing Avant Ministries. Larry and Melissa Strout have served in Argentina for many years. Their sons, Jason and Kevin, are planning to follow them to Argentina.

Special music will be provided by the Swihart family, representing the East Hebron Baptist Church, where Paul Swihart is the pastor. Swihart was raised on the mission field in Iran.

Another special feature will be a special telephone hook-up whereby phone calls will be made to other missionaries, and the conversation will be heard by the entire congregation.

The conference will open at a 6:30 p.m. Friday service at which Morgan will be the main speaker.

Saturday there will be a men’s breakfast at 7 a.m. with Costigan as the main speaker. At 10 a.m. Saturday a ladies tea will feature Melissa Strout. At 5 p.m. there will be a covered dish fellowship dinner.

A 6:30 p.m. special candlelight service will honor missionaries who are serving in places of danger. The message will be brought by Strout.

Sunday morning will follow the regular schedule with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and the worship service at 10:45. Morgan will be the speaker. Strout will close the conference with a special message and a challenge to the congregation at 6:30 p.m. All are invited.
