LEWISTON – The Lewiston Recreation Department is sponsoring an “Introduction to Track & Field”. The program, designed for youngsters in Grades K-6, will run for six weeks beginning April 24. Practice will take place from 6-7:30- p.m., on Mondays, and 9:30- 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays. Adam Mayo will serve as program director.
Entry fee is $35 for residents and $45 for non-residents. The fee includes a track shirt.
Registration deadline at Memorial Armory is April 21.

Colby hosting camp
WATERVILLE – Colby College is hosting the Mid-Maine Baseball Camp of Stars, June 26-30.
Eligible are youngsters ages 7-15. Registration fee is $165 if done by May 1, and $180 after that date. The camp covers all of the fundamental skills in station format, by age and ability. Five scrimmage fields are available for games in the afternoon. The camp will operate from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
