LEEDS – A baked pasta supper and musical program will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at the Leeds Community Church. The supper will include baked spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, vegetarian lasagna, salad, rolls, beverages and a variety of desserts. Cost for the supper and the program is $5 a person; under age 10, $3.

Musical entertainment will be provided at 6:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Featured musicians will include Lee Veilleux and Robin and Terry Moore of East Livermore. They play a variety of instruments and sacred and other music.

The purpose is to help Jerry Ellis of Livermore who recently suffered from congestive heart failure, a heart attack and kidney problems. His illness has caused medical expenses and loss of income.

Ellis is well known in the area as a musician, as a piano teacher and organist at the Leeds Community Church. He also has been involved in the community as a volunteer at the Norlands. Ellis has a number of family members in the surrounding towns.

People who may not be able to attend the benefit, but who wish to make contributions, may send them to the Jerry Ellis Fund, c/o Leeds Community Church, PO Box 228, Leeds, ME 04263.
