NASHUA, N.H. (AP) – Four Nashua men were arraigned Monday on a variety of charges in connection with a gang rape of a woman in her home over the weekend.

Police said the woman, 39, reported four men assaulted her for a half-hour early Saturday.

Bail was set at $50,000 for each of the men, who are from Nashua. Charged were Luis Aquino-Garcia, 22; Omar Cecenas, 24; Raul Ibarra, 26; and Juan Vera, 22.

Police say the woman knew Aquino-Garcia and had invited him over. The others showed up with him.

The woman, four men, her daughter and two of her daughter’s friends listened to music in the woman’s apartment. The daughter and friends went downstairs, then the four men began groping the woman, Detective Lt. Andrew Lavoie said. The men raped her, he said.

“They ended up physically picking her up and carrying her into the bedroom and physically holding her down, and they take turns having sex with her,” Lavoie said.

“As soon as they leave, she immediately runs downstairs and contacts her daughter, and they contact police.”
