LEWISTON – The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will present a workshop, “The Essentials of College Planning,” from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at USM’s Lewiston/Auburn College campus, 51 Westminster St. Center adviser Christy Le will lead the workshop.
A second workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at the Lewiston Career Center, 5 Mollison Dr.
The center helps adult students to overcome class, social, academic and cultural barriers to higher education. Services include assistance in choosing a college, tutoring, personal and financial counseling, career counseling, assistance in applying to college, workplace and college visits and assistance in applying for financial aid.
