SOUTH PARIS – Christine Elizabeth Smith, 60, of South Paris died Saturday, April 15, at their residence.
She was born in Lewiston on April 14, 1946, the daughter of Lionel and Evelyn Stewart Nadeau.
She had worked at Billen Shoe in Lewiston before it closed down.
She married Philip J. Smith on Sept. 4, 1964. She liked to cook and take care of her family.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Philip, of South Paris; a son, Michael and his wife, Jennifer, of Livermore Falls; a daughter, Jean Walton of South Paris; her brothers, David Nadeau and his wife, Barbara, of Auburn, Donald and his wife, Diane Nadeau, of Lewiston, Paul and his wife, Doris Nadeau, of Turner, and Bruce Nadeau and companion, Karen, of Lewiston; her sisters, Nancy and Leo Tardif of Turner, Patty and Arthur Hould of Greene, Susan and Frenchy Oulette of Poland, Pam and Ron Bosse of Turner, Debbie and Calvin Colby of Lewiston, Lorna Hunt and companion, Don Breton, of Lewiston; grandchildren April, Dylan, Logan, Donna, and Amanda.
She was predeceased by her parents; father- and mother-in-law, Phillip and Ada Smith; and her great-grandparents, Elmer and Beulah Stewart, and Oldon and Diane Nadeau.
