EPSOM, N.H. (AP) – A Franklin man died after his car crossed the center line and crashed into a pick-up truck on Route 4. Robert McEachern, 30, was ejected from his Chevy Cavalier and died at the scene of Saturday afternoon’s crash, state police said.

The car burst into flames, starting a brush fire. Route 4 was closed for about five hours after the 3 p.m. crash, as firefighters fought the blaze and state and local police investigated the accident.

The driver of the pick-up truck, Kurken Berberian, of Epsom, was taken to Concord Hospital for treatment of injuries. State police said the injuries weren’t life-threatening.
