NORWAY – Photographs by Ed Stevens are on exhibit in the Reference Room at Norway Memorial Library during April and May.
Stevens is district art department chairman for SAD 17 and teaches art and photography at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. The photographs were taken in Maine, Arizona, France, Italy and Ireland.
When speaking of photography and making the images that result, Stevens said, “What is most important is that I am totally present in the moment; to view the extraordinary within the ordinary, to experience the sacred within the secular.”
The exhibit will be on display through May 19 any time the library is open, and the public is welcome.
