FARMINGTON – Orchard Park Rehab and Living Center in Farmington recently received North Country Associates’ safety award. The award is given to facilities that have completed six months without a lost-time accident.
North Country started the safety program in 1991 to encourage safe-working practices. Each facility has a safety committee that reviews the incidents that occur each month and makes recommendations to prevent injury in the future.
North Country owns and manages 21 health care facilities in Maine and Massachusetts.
