RUMFORD – A business lunch and learn seminar will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St.

The topic features information on “Financing,” presented by Jane Mickeriz, who is a loan officer with the Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments in Auburn. Her work covers a large area, including the River Valley, and she has experience in all aspects of financing.

The cost of $10 includes lunch. River Valley Chamber of Commerce members pay $8. Prepayment is required; there will be no refunds. Preregistration may be done by calling Beverly at 369-0396 or e-mail [email protected] by Monday, May 15.

The seminars are intended to provide information to entrepreneurs, start-ups and existing businesses in an affordable way. In addition, they are intended to facilitate networking among businesses or entrepreneurs in similar activities.
