BRUNSWICK – A man escaped serious injury Tuesday morning when his car collided with a passing train at Old Bath and Farley roads.

Police said Robert Greene of Brunswick suffered minor injuries in the 10:45 a.m. crash when his Mazda Protege was struck by the passing train.

The train was stopped after the collision, and no one else was hurt. It was not known what led to the crash. Brunswick police were continuing to investigate the crash Tuesday night.
