My letter to the editor of April 29 was intended to clarify why the Lewiston and Auburn Veterans Council was planning the Memorial Day parade, but not planning it for Memorial Day.
I think someone from the council should just simply answer the original question: Why did they plan the Memorial Day parade for a day other than Memorial Day?
