LEWISTON – “Maine Debates” featuring three Republican primary candidates for governor – David F. Emery, S. Peter Mills and Chandler E. Woodcock – will air at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 1, on MPBN’s statewide television network.

The candidates will address their qualifications for Maine’s top job and debate significant issues facing the state in an hour-long broadcast, which also will air on the radio stations of MPBN at 1 p.m. Friday, June 2.

The two Democratic primary candidates for governor, incumbent John E. Baldacci and challenger Christopher F. Miller, will face each other on MPBN’s “Maine Debates” at 8:30 p.m., Friday, June 2. The half-hour debate will be rebroadcast on the radio stations of MPBN at 1 p.m., Monday, June 5.
