LEWISTON – Gipper’s-White Rock outslugged B&T Pallet 22-20 this week in the Lewiston Rec Men’s Softball League, scoring 4 runs in the seventh inning.

Pallet clouted 2 out of the park in the last of the seventh but they went for outs as the team had used its allotment of round-trippers.

Mike Gazza, Bob Haskell and Jeff Danse all homered for the winners, each collecting multiple hits. Jesse Robitaille went 4-4 and Jim Webster, Brandon Webster and Mike Harris all contributed 3 hits.

For the Palletmen, Bob Martin, Dan Dostie and Eddie all walloped a homer. Brian Harvey belted 4 hits, including 2 doubles. Jesse St. Laurent, Scott Corriveau and Jason added 3 hits apiece.

Auburn Player’s League

AUBURN – Meineke Muffler rolled past Motor Home 20-2 Thursday.

S&D Sheet Metal won a pair of games this week, the first a 28-3 win over Main-Land. Pitcher Jeff Dion allowed just 1 earned run and Moe Gauthier clouted a first inning homer. . . In the second win, S&D doubled up Uncle Andy’s 18-9, paced by first inning round-trippers by Gauthier and Jeremy Lothrop.

ESM came-from-behind to defeat Motor Home 17-14. Trailling 14-10 entering the seventh, ESM tied the game, then won it with 3 in the eighth. Earl Gardner walloped 2 homers for Motor Home. Among the top sticks for ESM was Campbell who socked a home run.
