WEST PARIS – The West Paris Village Hardware, formerly Johnston’s Hardware, has been purchased by Sam Small of Porter Road, son of Sam and Jennifer Small.

The new owner was born and brought up in South Paris and graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1985. He also purchased the Penley Block and the Jim and Anne Johnston apartment house on the corner of Main and Pioneer streets.

A grand opening marking the new ownership of Village Hardware was held May 20.

Tony Chase remains as manager with Becky Landers as assistant.

The store is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Call 674-2900 for more information.
