POLAND – Jason Lehr and Jacob Pelletier combined for six innings of three-hit baseball Tuesday as Mechanic Falls rolled over Gayton 10-0 in the opening contest of the 2006 American Legion baseball season.
Joe Douglass led Mechanic Falls (1-0) with two hits and one RBI, while Brent Cary belted a two-run double. Tyler Merchant also contributed with a pair of hits.
